Welcome
to the Natural Resource Management, Conservation, and Support Program for Ethiopia. Our mission
is to provide natural resource managers, researchers, teachers, students and policy makers an
on-line accessible source of information and training to facilitate the management and conservation
of Ethiopia's many natural resources. Simply stated, we aim to build partnerships
and information sharing among all those involved in conserving wildlife, forests, vegetation, and
sustainable use of the land throughout Ethiopia. The information compiled on this site is presented
by scientists, resource managers, and academic professionals that come from an array of diciplines
and that share the common goal of building capacity through the sharing of knowledge.
This website is facilitated by
The Murulle Foundation with techncial support and expertise provided by professors at
Colorado State University, and research
scientists at the
Natural Resource Ecology
Laboratory and the
US Geological Survey's
Fort Collins Science Center.
This project is in its'
initial development stages. The design of this website is continuously changing, and much of the
content is absent or currently being developed. Most links to topics within this website are
currently under construction or have not yet been started.
Any comments or suggestions on the website's design or the project's mission and long-term
